Too bad it is out of focus. The lines are good but the blurriness really makes it look like a snapshot. But such it is in these type of contests, when pressed for time sometimes a snapshot has to do.
The pattern works very well with your theme, and as you said, pressed for time, you did find a good subject. Of course it would be better if the focus was sharper. :)
