As with yesterday, the finish of this feels very flat and 2D, which is effective on the bookshelf. But there is great interest in the fact that the books are clearly not flat on the same plane, so feel disconnected. It's an intriguing effect.
When I look at the thumbs they seem very graphic 2D and it's intruiging to see the 3D from different angles when looking at the full image. I love that splash of red behaving like a contraweight.
Nice composition in this one, very graphic :)
ReplyDeleteGood graphic quality to this. Just looking at the first two days, I think your end product compilation will be very eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteI agree with BuffMuffin, it's going to look good as a finished set. Simple but effective.
ReplyDeleteNice graphic composition.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I don't love it as much as yesterdays, but it is still very good. You know what you are doing! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood angles, but the finish of the bookshelf isn't flush against each other! Gaaaah!

ReplyDeleteClever composition. I see angles everywhere! What's that book with the dog image on the spine?
